Rick Hutchison has been in active ministry for more than 40 years, including 25 years of pastoral ministry and years of service in Christian education and evangelistic work. He has served as evangelist in over 200 revivals, camps, and evangelistic services among more than 40 denominations and Christian organizations in the US and abroad. He has ministered on numerous high school and college campuses, and enjoys working with teens and college-age youth as well.

In 2002 Rick launched Barnabas Ministries, a ministry organization dedicated to evangelism, discipleship training, and missions assistance. He

serves as president of the organization and through it has been very actively involved in evangelistic work in the US and numerous other countries. Barnabas Ministries has been involved in ministerial training and enrichment conferences for pastors and church leaders in Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Rick and his wife, Joan, have been married for 36 years and make their home near Lenoir City, Tennessee. Joan maintains a private music studio where she teaches piano and voice, and serves as staff pianist for a church in their community. They have two adult sons, Richard and Jonathan. Richard and his wife serve as missionaries in the Philippines. Jonathan is married and is a pilot with the 134th Aerial Refueling Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard.

Barnabas Ministries is named in honor of the believer who brought Saul of Tarsus from virtual obscurity to prominent ministry, helping him become Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles. Barnabas was a great Encourager who saw others� potential, was a mentor and helper to many, and devoted himself to helping others succeed in Christ.
